Accommodation:

The cottage sleeps 7 & a baby.

Large sitting room – with double sofa bed, wood (& coal) burning stove, board games, large doll’s house, television/DVD player (copy of manual here) & aerial, and access to the garden.
Dining room, with a fireplace, a wonderful view, and a hatch to the kitchen.
Kitchen, with walk in larder. Sink, cooker, microwave, frig/freezer, kettle, iron, & microwave –all electric.
Two double bedrooms, one with 5’double bed and one with twin 3ft beds.
One single bedroom, with 2ft6in bed. This room lacks privacy as the sitting room and one double bedroom are reached through it.
Bathroom and lavatory combined, with heated towel rail.
Lavatory/shower room with heated towel rail and electric shaver socket.
Garage contains a washing machine and tumble dryer. The mains electricity switches & the meter are on the left wall. There is a dropside cot for use in the house, and a folding table tennis table (+ bats). The mains water tap (& water meter) is just outside the garage, in the tarmac.

 All equipment is electric: immersion water heater in the airing cupboard in the hall; most rooms have an electric heater.

The cottage is fully, but not luxuriously furnished, with a generous supply of all necessities –such as crockery/ cooking equipment, five single & two double duvets and plenty of blankets; but excluding bed linen and towels.

All tenants are expected to leave the cottage clean; materials and vacuum cleaner are provided.
Tenants may arrive from 2pm, and are asked to leave by 12 noon on the day of departure.

The Spindrift notebook is left out on the dining table for you to read on arrival, containing information about dustbins, self-locking doors etc. Please leave it out when you leave.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Over Sixty? Don't forget your bus pass. Local buses are free with a bus pass, as is swimming at Wadebridge Leisure Centre. A nice walk is along the coast to Polzeath (just under 3 miles), then return by 584 Bus to the Clock Garage at Rock. At the time of writing (July 2009) there are buses from Polzeath beach at 10.10, 12.10, 14.10, 16.10 and 18.10.

Broadband. Broadband with WiFi has been installed for the use of our family. Tenants are welcome to use it, but its availability is not part of the rental  agreement. Unfortunately we are not sufficiently computer knowledgeable to give support/advice, but welcome feedback on its usefulness. We've added some useful website links to the Spindrift website and welcome your suggestions for further links.

The current password will be shown on the WiFi hub in the dining room and/or in the Spindrift book. We have a download limit so please don't download large files or otherwise misuse it. The WiFi hub has an ethernet cable attached for people who want to use a wired connection.
